Chief Complaint
Many of the teeth in his entire mouth are missing, loose, and some are crooked, which has been the case for several years. He previously had a bridge denture done in another hospital, but it’s very inconvenient for him to chew. He wants to restore the appearance and chewing function of his teeth through implants.
Treatment Plan
After examination, it was found that Mr. Ma has many missing teeth, the gums in the missing areas are of normal color, and the alveolar bone is flat and full. He also has temporomandibular joint disorder, chronic periodontitis, mild gingival recession, and loose teeth, but the amount of alveolar bone is sufficient for implants. After communicating with Mr. Ma and obtaining his consent, we first extracted the remaining bad teeth and then performed full-arch implant restoration.
